Unloads inbound cases of foodservice product to specified configurations for
storage and shipment as directed under general supervision. Performs all duties safely,
accurately and meets set productivity goals.
This position is responsible for maintaining all warehouse equipment to ensure availability and reduce breakdowns, lost time and productivity. The equipment mechanic is required to safely and accurately perform these functions to the proper specifications as defined by the respective equipment manufacturer using the proper tools and equipment.
This position is responsible for all general warehouse functions including loading, receiving, put-away, stocking and selection of product and/or order packing when qualified and as needed. All functions with the exception of loading require specific equipment or process certification.
Transports, puts away pallets from receipt, and selects pallets of product from inventory using mechanized lift handling equipment which includes primarily operating a Reach Forklift. Required to work in the freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse. Performs all duties safely, accurately, and meets set productivity standards and goals.
